Item description:

See scan – very good condition. Drawing is not framed on purpose. This is a very rare and one of a kind drawing made in person by Jean Effel (Adam and Eve cartoons), who is one of the famous French artists and was a close friend of Picasso. In France and worldwide he is also considered as one of the greatest cartoonists. The drawing was made to a Bulgarian girl marie during Effel’s visit to Bulgaria in 1956. Drawing is made in green ink on a piece of Effels’s notebook and front shows several pigeons one on top of the other – the one at the top holding a flower or something of the kind. Front also has a personal autograph / signed by Jean Effel and dated 22.2.56. Also has the place – Sofia. At the back, Jean Effel has written in person his home address – Honfleur, Calvados – France. Extremely scarce piece. A true collector item.
